At Active, we work with trees – we climb them, trim them, and chip them! We are looking for skilled subcontracting crews to deliver high-quality projects safely and efficiently. 

The Role

 We are seeking Chipper and EWP crews who can:

• Operate EWPs and a chipper safely and efficiently.
• Demonstrate experience in tree trimming, dismantling, and vegetation management, including work near powerlines.
• Maintain all plant and equipment in safe working condition.
• Provide a fully competent team, including EWP and chipper operators
• Uphold WHS compliance, site safety, and deliver high-quality results.
• Mobilise and deliver projects across Sydney.

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven track record in arboriculture and vegetation management projects.
• Current driver’s licences, EWP licences, and chainsaw qualifications.
• Ability to complete risk assessments and maintain safety plans on site.
• Strong operational, organisational, and team leadership skills.

Desirable:

• White Card, First Aid/CPR, MR/HR Truck Licence
• Experience with powerline clearance
• Cert 11 ESI Vegetation Managment
• Ability to maintain high standards of site cleanliness and environmental responsibility
