About the role:

As a Vegetation Inspector, you’ll play a key role in managing vegetation around powerlines and critical infrastructure, helping ensure safety, compliance and service reliability. You’ll carry out inspections, assess risks, record findings accurately, and help ensure vegetation is maintained within required clearance zones. Your day-to-day may include:

• Conducting vegetation inspections across Adelaide and regional SA
• Assessing risk and identifying compliance issues
• Auditing vegetation in and around clearance zones
• Recording accurate field data using provided technology
• Communicating with residents about upcoming or required works

This role offers a strong mix of autonomy, problem-solving and meaningful outdoor work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being on the move and taking ownership in the field.

What you’ll bring:

• Current driver’s licence (essential)
• Certificate III in Horticulture or Arboriculture (essential)
• Knowledge of local tree species, vegetation maintenance and removal practices
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work safely
• Confidence working outdoors and independently
• Flexibility to live away from home for up to 2 weeks at a time

Nice to have, but not essential:

• White Card
• First Aid/CPR
• MR/HR Truck Licence
