AusGreen Services are seeking a committed and passionate Consulting Arborist to join their NSW and VIC team of arborists, ecologists and environmental scientists. We contribute to the community with tree assessments, works supervision, tree data collection and reporting, root mapping, commercial and council projects.
About the role:
The role of the Consulting Arborist at AusGreen Services is to promote urban greening and provide tree assessments and reporting. You will manage client relationships and work with experienced team members who are leading arborists, ecologists and environmental scientists.
You will have outstanding relationship, communication, and reporting skills with the desire to deliver exceptional service to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Tree assessments, AIA’s, risk assessments and other arboricultural reporting
- Tree data collection, root mapping, and works supervision
- Use of GIS and asset management systems
- PHC recommendations
- Liaison with councils, infrastructure providers, and project stakeholders
If you have a Cert III (or are part way through a Cert V) and are willing to be sponsored through a Cert V program, we may be able to assist.

Do you have?
- Minimum Cert 3, preferably Cert V, in Arboriculture
- Field experience
- The ability to work autonomously
- Ability to provide tree and tree risk factor identification
- Technical data recording and report writings skills
- Ability to travel for short periods
- A current driver’s license
