This is a career‑defining leadership opportunity for someone who wants to manage large‑scale vegetation programs while building a long‑term future in a growing national business.

You’ll lead the day‑to‑day operations of multiple field teams, delivering complex, industrial‑scale vegetation clearance projects for major utility and infrastructure clients. Alongside project delivery, you’ll help identify new opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and drive performance across safety, quality and productivity.

Our current project is based in the Mudgee NSW region, with locations evolving over time in line with project demands. These projects span regional and remote locations, offering the opportunity to work across Australia, take on challenging, high‑profile work, and continuously build your capability as an industry leader.

Safety, environmental stewardship and quality are non‑negotiable - and you’ll be backed by a highly experienced, professional team, and a state‑of‑the‑art mechanical fleet of specialised tree removal and vegetation management equipment, supported by clear pathways for progression into senior operational roles.

If you’re looking for stability, growth, variety and a role where you can truly make your mark - this is it.

You will be responsible for:

  • Manage land clearing projects end‑to‑end, from tender award through to completion
  • Plan and scope works on site, defining methodology, clearing limits, access, controls, resources and sequencing.
  • Control programs, budgets and performance, including schedules, forecasting, variations and reporting.
  • Coordinate approvals and stakeholders, working with utilities, engineers, environmental and cultural heritage consultants.
  • Lead subcontractors and site teams, driving safe, compliant and productive delivery.
  • Ensure quality, WHS and environmental compliance, managing risks, documentation and client relationships throughout delivery.

Why choose AIP Group?

  • Permanent, full-time role – join a company that values stability and growth
  • Attractive salary package – starting from $130k + superannuation (dependent on experience)
  • Company vehicle provided for use while on site and during project travel
  • Career development guaranteed – ongoing training and opportunities to advance
  • Safety is our priority – we make sure you’re Home Safe Every Day

About You

Essential

  • 3–7+ years’ project delivery experience in civil, utilities or vegetation works
  • Strong understanding of utility environments (overhead & underground)
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules and safety compliance
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Project Management qualifications and/or strong industry experience

Desirable

  • Construction White Card
  • First Aid / CPR
  • MR/HR Licence
  • 4x4 or off‑road driving experience

Working Conditions

  • Mix of office and site‑based work in active construction and utility environments.

  • Early starts, extended hours and occasional weekend or night work as required.
