We’re now growing our Sydney team and looking for an Electrical Earthing Person / Linesman who takes pride in working safely, professionally and as part of a high-performing crew. What is the role?

This role is part of a long-term contract with Active. After Ausgrid Specific Earthing training, you will be responsible for the safe application of HV earths and LV Shorts and the installation and removal of tiger tails on planned shutouts for intended/required works and the entry of data into the company's computer-based work system. You will also be required to work alongside a dedicated shut out crew and provide vegetation management operations as part of that team.  This role requires travel within the nominated region.

About you

• A current driver’s licence (truck licence desirable)
• The ability to work safely
• Certificate III ESI Power Systems - Distribution Overhead (UET30612), Application of overhead low voltage short circuits (TTDO1653) or Electrical Trade Qualifications
• White Card

Great, but not essential:

• MR/HR Truck Licence
• Cert II ESI Powerline Vegetation Control
• Demonstrated experience working in the vicinity of Electrical Distribution and/or Transmission systems
