We’re on the lookout for a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic or experienced Trades Assistant to join our team in Edwardstown.

The work:

The key responsibility of this role is to ensure that the maintenance and regular servicing occurs on all our diesel fleet vehicles, equipment, and machinery including Elevated Work Platform's (EWP), tippers, chippers, specialised all-terrain equipment, and excavators. You will rotate throughout the day between duties such as:

  • Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs (mechanical + minor body)
  • Servicing and maintaining diesel fleet, plant and machinery
  • Working on transmissions, driveline and sub-assemblies
  • Repairing and maintaining hydraulic systems, steering, suspension and braking
  • Testing and adjusting equipment for safe, reliable performance
  • Ensuring compliance with WHS, environmental and client requirements

What you will need:

  • Driver’s licence
  • Trade qualified OR solid Trades Assistant experience
  • Good attitude, willingness to learn and get stuck in

Desirable, but not essential:

  • Auto electrical experience
  • MR/HR licence
  • Hydraulics exposure
