Action Traffic Solutions is looking for multiple experienced Traffic Management Implementers (TMIs) to join our growing team and support essential vegetation and tree works across metropolitan and regional South Australia.

We're a brand-new traffic control business within the Active group, created to support the crews delivering critical vegetation management work every day. While Action Traffic Solutions is new, we're backed by Active Tree Services — Australia's leading vegetation management company, with more than 50 years' experience and long-term contracts across the state.

This isn't traffic control for random one-off jobs. You'll be working alongside our internal tree crews, ground teams and vegetation management workers, helping keep our people, clients and the public safe while essential works are completed.

What the role involves
As a Traffic Management Implementer, you will be responsible for establishing, modifying and maintaining traffic management arrangements around active worksites while supporting field crews undertaking essential works.

Your duties may include:

• Implementing Traffic Management Plans and Traffic Guidance Schemes
• Setting up, maintaining and adjusting traffic control sites
• Supervising traffic management activities onsite
• Ensuring compliance with traffic management requirements and safety procedures
• Supporting Traffic Controllers and field crews
• Communicating effectively with crews, supervisors and the public

Initially, work will align with Active Tree Services' current Monday to Friday scheduling, with opportunities for weekend, night and after-hours work as the business continues to grow.

Do you have?

• Current Traffic Management Implementer qualification
• Current Traffic Controller qualification
• A current driver’s licence is essential (MR/HR licence highly regarded)
• White Card
• A smartphone for work allocation and communication
• Experience working on traffic control sites
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first approach
• Flexibility to work across metropolitan and regional South Australia
