Action Traffic Solutions is seeking an experienced Traffic Planner/Designer to support the establishment and growth of our new traffic management business across South Australia.

This is a unique opportunity to help shape a business from the beginning while working alongside operational leaders, field crews and clients delivering essential vegetation management and infrastructure works across the state.

What the role involves

As a Traffic Planner/Designer, you will play a key role in developing and coordinating traffic management plans, preparing and managing permit applications, and supporting safe, compliant traffic management outcomes across our operations.

Your duties may include:

• Preparing Traffic Management Plans (TMPs)
• Developing Traffic Guidance Schemes
• Preparing, submitting and managing traffic permit applications
• Liaising with operational teams and supervisors regarding site requirements
• Ensuring plans meet legislative and client requirements
• Supporting field crews with traffic management advice and compliance requirements
• Assisting with the continuous improvement of traffic management systems and processes
• Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support safe and efficient project delivery

Do you have?

• Traffic Planning experience
• Relevant Traffic Planning / Traffic Management qualifications
• A current driver's licence
• Strong understanding of traffic legislation, standards and compliance requirements
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive and safety-focused approach
