The Opportunity 

We are seeking experienced Chipper and EWP crews who can safely and efficiently operate Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs) and chippers, with proven experience in tree trimming, dismantling, hazard tree removal, and broader vegetation management activities — including working in close proximity to live electrical infrastructure.

We can even support you with fleet and equipment leasing, helping you scale without huge upfront investment. As a sub-contractor principal, you would be required to source and manage your own crew which would consist of Chipper Operators and Elevated Working Platform (EWP) ticketed Tree cutters who can:

The successful crew will:

• Provide a fully competent team, including qualified EWP and chipper operators
• Maintain all plant and equipment in safe working condition
• Ensure full compliance with WHS, environmental, and safety requirements
• Uphold high site safety standards while delivering quality outcomes
• Mobilise and deliver projects across Sydney

This role involves vegetation management and hazard tree removal works, carried out in accordance with all relevant environmental and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For 

• Proven track record in arboriculture and vegetation management projects
• Relevant industry experience, including work near powerlines (highly regarded)
• Current driver’s licence, EWP licence, and chainsaw qualifications
• Ability to complete risk assessments and maintain site safety plans
• Appropriate insurances and required certifications
• Strong operational, organisational, and team leadership skills
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality delivery

Desirable (but can assist to obtain):

• White Card, First Aid/CPR, MR/HR Truck Licence
• Experience with powerline clearance
• Cert II in Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) – Vegetation Control Management
• Ability to maintain high standards of site cleanliness and environmental responsibility
